Angela Robles
Angela is a genuine and authentic Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) with 10 years of experience. She holds a bachelor’s degree in behavioral health science and a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Grand Canyon University.
With a person-centered approach, Angela believes in everyone’s capacity for growth and self-actualization. Her style is honest, exploratory, and focused on helping individuals and families deal with difficult life circumstances, such as abuse, breakups, professional anxiety, or family stressors. She has a passion for empowering others to reflect on and overcome their challenges and has emotionally supported individuals and families experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, low self-esteem, emotional regulation, anger management, mood disorders, and trauma symptoms.
Angela is especially passionate about working with individuals living with complex trauma, PTSD, compulsive- and stressor-related disorders. She offers a safe environment for clients to share more and increase vulnerability. She understands the unique barriers that can hinder personal growth and provides a supportive environment for individuals to strengthen their sense of identity and connect better with others.
In her free time, Angela appreciates moments with her two daughters. She enjoys gardening, yoga, home-improvement projects, and refurbishing antique furniture. She considers mental and emotional self-care key components of a fulfilling life and utilizes this nurturing approach in her work with clients.
